Amazing experience there. Clean hotel, pleasant staff, easy location. Very comfy bed in family room with a kettle, central heating and an iron. Ideally based in good area just next door to all the attractions as well as the centre and the piers.

The room itself was a haven of comfort, featuring a spacious double bed and a private bathroom that ensured a relaxing and convenient experience.
I did notice that the Wi-Fi connection was occasionally inconsistent, which was slightly frustrating when trying to plan my day. Despite this minor setback, the overall experience was enjoyable.

we recently stayed at merlin and found that it had some advantages. the location was quite convenient, just a short walk to the beach which we enjoyed. while the facilities were bare-bones, we appreciated the comfortable beds that provided decent sleep after long days out. we also encountered a friendly owner who made us feel welcome during our visit. overall, it had its perks despite the drawbacks.
Not the cleanest place 😕, poor service, and loud nights.

A Nice Stay in Blackpool
I was eager to visit the iconic Blackpool Tower, and I chose the Merlin solely for its proximity to this landmark. To my delight, the new management has revitalized the hotel, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the full breakfasts served daily at 8:30 AM, which were a fantastic way to start my day of exploration. The combination of a great location and a hearty breakfast made for a wonderful experience.
Room cleanliness needs improvement.

The staff were lovely, went out of their way to, and the room was clean with all the essentials. We even had tea and coffee facilities! Total gem for the price.
The décor looked like it hadn't seen a trend since the '80s, and the bathroom could probably host its own horror film. Seriously, shared facilities need some TLC!

We explored the nearby Opera House Theatre and had a blast at the funfair. The vibe was great, and the location made it easy to hit up all the attractions. Just a heads up, some rooms might need updating, but overall it was a fun stay!
We dealt with some noise issues at night was good. Just be prepared for potential late-night disturbances.

A fantastic family room with great privacy, though it could benefit from a TV for the adults. Staff stand out. Cleanliness left room for improvement. There was evidence of debris under the bed and an outdated shower mat. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and the secure parking option was a big plus for bikers. The pool table and family-friendly music added to the ambiance were nice.
